Some simple tips to help you create a better
auction.
1.) Here is a great trick I learned to make
my listings higher in search engines. Use lots of hidden keywords in your
auction. To easily do this, type in as many keywords that you can think of
anywhere in your listing. Separate each keyword with a coma, so it will look
something like this:
auction,template,auction template,free template,free auction template,ebay
template,free ebay template, free ebay auction template
Now, here's the cool part. Make that text as small as you can, highlight it
and make it the same color as your listing template. COOL !! Now you have tons
of searchable keywords in your listing that is completely invisible but
completely findable by all search engines.
2.)Let your visitors know what else you have
to offer. Add some links to your store categories or other auctions in your
listing. Tell them a little about what else you have to offer. Not only will
this help in getting visitors to see your other items, this also creates even
more "keywords" for your listing. Remember, your auctions are searchable by most
major search engines.
3.) Pictures. Add as many as you can. Try to
keep them cropped to show just what you are selling. To much background images
in your picture and make it to busy, confusing the viewer. By providing more
views of the item helps the customer feel more comfortable about buying it.
Since we can't pick it up and hold it, we want to at least look all around it.
